Mali is breathtaking - from the impressive mud brick mosque of Djenné to the curve of the Niger River delta, to the Cliffs of Bandiagara deep in the Dogon tribal lands. Sadly, Mali's current social and political climate discourages travel and tourism to this beautiful and complex destination.
